Having found the Holy Grail, I must say I’m underwhelmed

After more than a year of hearing how invaluable Bill Webb’s 1980s-era book, Swedish Iron, is for those of us trying to restore an 1800, I finally got my grimy hands on a copy for myself — without spending the absurd money people seem to be paying on eBay for the book these days. Thanks [...]

My spare parts for anyone interested

This is one of two ever-evolving lists I host here on Classic1800: It’s basically a “spare parts” list announcing some of the extra items I’ve collected during my 1800 restoration project. If you need any of these items and would like to help either cause (yours or mine), let me know, and perhaps we can [...]

My 1800 wish list

This is one of two ever-evolving lists I host here on Classic1800: It’s basically a “wish list” announcing some of the items I realize I need (want) to complete my 1800 restoration. 2005 Volvo 1800 calendar is under way

The pictures are in, and we’ve begun compiling the first Classic1800.com Volvo 1800 calendar now. We’ve got some great pictures, and we’re hoping to make this first calendar something we’ll all be proud to hang in our homes/offices/workshops. Stay tuned for details, and thanks to all those who submitted photos for the 2005 calendar.

Calendar entry deadline is Nov. 5

Interest seems high in putting together a Volvo 1800 calendar for 2005, so in case you missed the call for entries last month, here it is again: I’d really like to get the calendar compiled, selected, edited and printed (and in the mail) in time for the holiday season (and the new year), so I’m [...]
