Volvo and Web geekery collide head-on today
I've been wondering lately how to bring up this new site to readers of my other Web venture, Turdhead.com (It's not as bad as it sounds: It focuses, among other things, on Macromedia Flash development), when suddenly the creators of Web-based Flash video themselves provided the perfect excuse: In one beautiful demonstration of Flash technology, the company has merged my two favorite things into one great site: cutting-edge Flash technology and the Volvo 1800!
Front and center on Macromedia's Web site today is a feature story on how Volvo is using Flash video technology to sell the new V50 message to the public. Even better, the Flash piece features a museum-quality P1800 in its "Volvo Museum" section.
Life is good for a classic Volvo-loving Web geek today!

Really good. Love the 1800.
If I’m not mistaken, the “P” was dropped in 1961-1962 when the manufacturing
was moved from England to Sweden.
