The water pump saga continues…
In early September, my first real "problem" occurred with the Heater (and when I say "Heater," I don't actually mean the object that supposedly heats the 1800; I mean the 1800 itself. After a long, hot summer with the heat stuck on, the car earned its nickname honestly.).
While driving home from work, the water pump decided to go south (literally), sending the fan through the radiator and my plans to keep driving out the window. Since then, our schedules have seldom come together (waiting for parts, an odd weekend, etc.), and it's only recently that I've had time to tinker with her again.
This weekend was fun, though, although I spent more time than I figured I would (heh!) putting her back together again. The best part: She's still broken…
Seems I may have forgotten a seal or two. Dang..
But at least I get to do it all over again later this week!
