Trial-and-error continues
Slight odor or gas inside trunk in the morning. Applied second coat of Seal-All. By 6 pm, gas leak indeed seems fixed.
Took car to car wash to degrease engine. Disaster! Water, water everywhere causes car to not start. After much searching, drying, etc., found water in fuel-injection wire connections and on starter itself (among other places). After much trial-and-error, got the car started again (albeit roughly!), thought left headlight was now out. And idle needed adjusting higher.
Traced headlight to loose wire connection. Soldered connection directly. Works. Left turn signals still out, though.
To do:
- Replace/repair/protect all wires and connections under hood.
- Fix left-hand turn signal
- Fix backup light
- Muffler spacer
