First impressions of the 1800E (by a complete idiot)
Picked up 1800E from Charlotte
- First impressions (pre-drive)
- Good shape (body)
- Engine appears to leak oil
- Windshield cracked, door lock broken
- Needs paint
- Interior in great shape
- Extra pieces (bumper not attached)
- No evident rust
- Drove from Charlotte to Raleigh
- Muffler really needs work
- Rear-view mirror (interior) missing
- Seats not positioned right
- Speedo/gauges dead
- Exhaust fumes fill passsenger compartment
- Trunk compartment filled with gas fumes
- Scary as hell!
- Taillights "may or may not" work
- Overdrive/tachometer started acting sporadic while in bumper-to-bumper traffic in Burlington
- Therefore, to do:
- Rear-view mirror
- Muffler work
- Figure out gas fumes
- Gauges
